Introduction
The Architectural Modular Series is a fully interchangeable aluminum signage system.
It is a simple system, but offers extensive design and layout options.

How it works
The system comprises of three components – Base Plates, Inserts, and Sidelocks. The Inserts slide onto a Base Plate and are secured with Sidelocks, one on the left and one on the right.
Signs can be made with as many or few Inserts as required, allowing for a vast range of configurations or layouts. Inserts can also be updated or changed as often as required. All AM Series Inserts are interchangeable.
The Architectural Modular Series also has Inserts designed to accept paper and/or lexan, which makes the system extremely easy to update. The system’s most popular and cost effective copy option is vinyl lettering. It also accepts silk screening, engraving and is ADA compliant.

With many different mounting and installation options available, the system is ideal for all interior and exterior signage requirements, from small door signs to large freestanding exterior directory boards.

Insert sizes
The Architectural Modular Series offers a range of standard Insert panel width and height sizes.
Insert Widths: Are available in multiples of 2 1/16” approx.
The smallest width is 2 1/16”, increasing in multiples of approximately 2 1/16” (i.e. 2 1/16”, 4 1/8”, 6 3/16”, 8 1/4”, 10 5/16”, 12 3/8” and so on). The widest single Insert available
is 74 7/16”.
Insert Heights: Are available in increments of 13/16”.
The smallest insert height is 13/16”, increasing in multiples of 13/16” (i.e. 1 5/8”, 2 7/16”, 3 1/4”, 4 1/8”, 4 15/16”, 5 3/4”, and so on). The maximum height for any single Insert panel is 47 1/8”. The maximum height for a complete sign consisting of multiple Inserts is 74 7/16”.
Inserts can be configured in a variety of layouts and designs to suit graphic requirements.

Locking options
The Architectural Modular Series’ Sidelocks are designed to fasten and secure the Inserts and the Base Plate together.
There are three Sidelock options to choose from:
- Standard – 1/16" wide
- 1/4" wide – square cut
- 1/4" wide – radius cut
- 1/2" wide – square cut
- 1/2" wide – radius cut
Security Locking Option:
Ideal for vandalism-prone areas or exterior applications, a locking option is available for signs which require tamper-proof security. Available on request.
Finishes
The Architectural Modular Series is available in a number of finishes.
Standard finish:
- Satin natural anodized finish (Clear Anodized)
Other finish options:
- Mill finish – a raw finish suitable for painting
- Painted finish – single pack or two-pack in any color
- New York finish – stainless steel look
- Black anodized – matte black finish
- Gold anodized – matte gold finish
Mounting options
The Architectural Modular Series system can be mounted in many different ways. Depending on the size of each individual sign, there are a range of flexible options for attaching signs to the available surfaces.
